Get to Know Alma Pura

Alma Pura was born from a desire to create something meaningful — clothing made with intention, care, and a slower approach to fashion.

I’m Jazhel, the designer and founder behind Alma Pura. With a background in fashion design and a love for creating with my hands, I wanted to build a brand that reflected what I value most: simplicity, comfort, quality, and the beauty found in everyday moments.

Becoming a mother changed the way I saw children's clothing. I began to look for pieces that felt comfortable for little ones to move, play, and grow in, while still feeling thoughtfully designed. When I couldn't quite find what I was looking for, I decided to create it myself.

Every Alma Pura piece begins with an idea and passes through my hands — from choosing the fabric and developing the pattern to sewing and finishing each garment.

We create in small quantities and believe in buying less, but better. Our goal isn't to create more clothes, but to create pieces that feel special, useful, and made to be part of childhood.

Alma Pura is a small independent brand based in Texas, with roots in Guadalajara, Mexico.
